Alright, I myself adore the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series. Its a beautifully made roleplay game in which you play a jedi most of the game that must stop the dark side (or give into the dark side). You have choices like every other person has in the world and you can change and edit the game with custom mods. The LucasArts Company has cancled and fired most of the Knights of the Old Republic 3 plans and creators. I love this series! Its the best gaming experience I have ever gotten in my years of gaming and writing. Please, sign the petition to continue the game series they left at a cliffhanger! I signed the petition today as the signer 7555. I was the 7555th person to sign this petition! A lot of people enjoy and love this game series. Do Minx.eh a favor for her birthday (which is August 16th) and sign the petition asking them to continue the roleplay experience. Read the petition here: www.petitiononline.com/KOTOR3/petition.htmlSign the petition here: www.petitiononline.com/KOTOR3/petition-sign.htmlFact: They layed of 31-50 employees who worked on this game. Don't you want to help them get their jobs back too?

You know, petitions on the internet seldom do anything, and I don't think you can FORCE a company to make a game if they don't want to, it's their choice :C

Still if we get enough signatures maybe they will. I mean if over 7,000 fans around the world want the game!!

One thing you gotta look at with this is sales figures. I have not played KOTOR, but I can see where this comes from. You have fans calling for xenosaga to be remade and for FF7 to be remade for ps3 *prods tech demo*. Over 7, 000 fans might by this game, but they are mainly interested in numbers like half a million worldwide.

I thought these games sold well or else I'm out of the loop in the gaming world.
Anyways, my cousin likes the series. Plays it a lot on his computer. If he was more internet involved, I think he'd sign. Me, I just wait for whatever catches my interest and I've only liked Star Wars for the movies, namely The Empire Strikes Back.
It would be better if it was a paper petition. You could always ask or participate at a convention for Star Wars related events for signatures. Those kind of petitions would be taken far more seriously since it shows a vested interest from the target consumer group.
Just saying though~ I believe in exhausting all avenues as it is, so if online is the route that should be tried first, have at it.

I'm sorry minx but a signature made by someone who will not buy or pay for the game is useless. and my Inu is correct they aren't after complete series they are after money the only reason they even considered extending FFVII in th ways they did is because it earned money. Take for instance 'Dirge of Cerberus'
you had to actually PLAY the game to understand it the controls, to spite popular belief, can be altered to your likening if thats the only reason you would not buy or even play a game you need to think again. I have had allot of people talk smack about it yet when I told them about one of the first missions they were like what, or more amusing You don't do that in the game.
Now I will admit my Inu them snipers are tough cookies to take out without using a Phoenix down or two. I also found that sniping them back is ironically pleasing.

Kuronue, KOTOR is a great role play game. I personally am not very interested in Final Fantasy because it doesn't allow custom characters. You're stuck with Squal. You have no freaking choice. Thats why I ditched Final Fantasy for PC, boring! KOTOR however allows you to play more than once. There is a light and dark version of each game (two over 2 days playing at the least versions of the game), there are many, many choices, you have custom characters, AND it allows you to modify it. I have KOTOR and have played it so many times but each time I downloaded custom content to add to the game play. In KOTOR II you have much of the same options but even more. You have 2 romance choices AND the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times you play the game something new to the story is unlocked and available to you. Knights of the Old Republic was the best game series ever made! I suggest you yourself play it for its hours and hours and hours upon hours of never ending entertainment. If the game alone isn't enough start downloading content for it. Like Redhake's beautiful mods. (My favorite Modder of all time) www.citlink.net/~redhawke/mods.htmlKOTOR made A LOT OF MONEY no joke. I'm telling you if they make the next game it will be a huge hit for them. Lots of mula (money) and lots of cash and awards. Do I even have to mention Knights of the Republic I and II were best sellers OF ALL TIME and also won HUGE awards? If thats not enough said how bought the millions of fans who still play the game on a regular basis? (Myself included). What about the hundreds of people who make custom content (for free) to improve the game experience? Just because not ALL the fans signed doesn't mean they do not want it. People, give this wonderful game. It is an award winnging series of a game with romance, action, laughter, fun, and hours and hours and days and days and months and months and years upon years of entertainment all in just one game package. This series is one not worth missing out on.

Maybe it did make a lot of money, but would that have been enough for what it was worth to produce it? There's a lot of people that need to be paid when a game is produced, from the people who programmed it to the stores putting it in stock at your local Walmart or whatever. It's not like all that money went solely to the people who made it x:

They still made a lot of money, enough for all of them. I mean the games are STILL selling now. Sure, they are a lot cheaper, but they are still, STILL making money from the game.
